ASA and ABS are styrenic engineering thermoplastics. Unlike PLA and PETG, they offer a different balance of thermal and mechanical performance for functional applications.
Both materials are well suited to parts that need higher heat resistance, toughness and impact resistance. ASA adds another major advantage: excellent resistance to UV exposure and weathering, making it especially useful for custom, replacement and low-volume parts intended for outdoor applications.
